Staying safe on Feelr
Feelr connects you with people who are physically close by. That makes meeting easy, and it makes a few habits worth having.

Before you meet
- Meet somewhere public, busy and easy to leave.
- Tell a friend where you are going and who with.
- Arrange your own transport, both ways.
- Keep the conversation in the app until you are comfortable.
What not to share early
Your home or work address, your financial details, or anything that could be used to find or impersonate you. Nobody genuine will need any of it to meet you for a drink.
Be especially careful with anyone who asks for money, however plausible the reason. This is the single most common pattern we see, and it is always a scam.
Trust the feeling
You do not owe anyone a conversation, a meeting, or an explanation for ending either. Leaving is always a reasonable thing to do.
If something goes wrong
Report the profile or conversation from inside the app. Reports are reviewed by a person, and reporting is private — the other account is never shown who reported it.

Common questions
Can someone see my exact location on Feelr?
No. Feelr shows an approximate distance only, rounded to the nearest hundred metres or tenth of a kilometre. There is no map, no pin and no address. You can turn distance display off entirely.
Can strangers message me directly on Feelr?
No. A conversation can only start when someone replies to a story you posted, and it only opens once you answer. Until then it is a request you can ignore, decline or report.
What happens when I decline a request?
Nothing visible to them. The other person is not notified and cannot tell the difference between being declined and being ignored.
